Hello!!!

We're edging closer to relaunching the much sought-after fashion styling forum A Dress Code. 

We’ve been working on ADC for the best part of two years. Having opened the doors, to a very small group of stylists, almost a year ago, we are now almost ready to open the membership up completely. 

Over the past year, we have been BETA testing the group and seeing what works and what doesn’t. Having sat with each stylist member individually, we have got so much great feedback of what works for them, and again, what doesn’t - you can see some of their conversations here.

The membership is entirely focused on the business behind fashion styling, which includes: 

• The Stylist Prep Calendar - a transnational calendar of all fashion events, art exhibitions and the industry layout for the months ahead e.g when to be getting in contact with producers and art directors for the campaign season. Helping any stylist to be organised with their own business and their social media platforms;

• Workshops - these range from working out their work strategy for the coming year; online portfolios; making their work relevant; money mindset and travel carnets - when the brief states that the shoot will be shot abroad on location.

• Masterclasses - with industry experts - social media planning, contacting PRs, negotiating with clients or sorting their accounts for TAX purposes.

• Interviews with industry experts - If you’re part of The Fashion Stylist Community on Facebook, you may have seen the interview I did with royal, portrait and fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski. (If not, click here to watch.) Alexi was incredibly forthcoming with information about how he works as a photographer in the fashion industry, along with what he needs and expects when working with fashion stylists.

Alongside all of the above, we have a private FB group which runs as a noticeboard for the membership. Where all members can ask questions; ask for or offer help; plus announcements for when interviews, prep calendars, workshops or masterclasses are up in the Members’ Portal. 

With all trainings and interviews going out live, these are all recorded, so if any member misses any lives, they are able to watch and rewatch the recorded session as much, or as little, as they like.
